STATES OF CT, MA, AND RI, AND IS OPEN ONLY TO QUALIFIED PERSONS (AS DEFINED IN
THE OFFICIAL RULES (“OFFICIAL RULES”) BELOW).

BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS CONTEST, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE
OFFICIAL RULES AND THE DECISIONS OF SPONSOR AND ADMINISTRATOR. DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE CONTEST IF YOU DO
NOT AGREE TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND FALL WITHIN THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
AS SET FORTH BELOW.
NOTE: Every
Entrant in this contest is submitting an entry on behalf of their nominated
youth sports organization (“YSP”). There are no prize awards available for individual Entrants in the
Contest. In the event of a prize-winning
submission, the prize shall be awarded to the eligible Entrant’s nominated YSP,
per the requirements as outlined in these official rules. See prize award details below.
CONTEST
NAME: Garelick Farms Youth
Sports Program MVP Contest (the “Contest”).
CONTEST DATES: Contest
registration, nomination, and entry submission period begins at 12:00:01 am
Eastern Time (ET) on 7/3/2026 and ends at 11:59:59 pm (ET) on 7/31/2026
(the “Registration & Nomination Period”). The Contest is subject to all applicable
federal, state and local laws and regulations.
Void outside the states of
CT, MA, and RI, and wherever prohibited or restricted by law.
Who may Enter:
Contest is open only to legal U.S. residents of CT, MA, or RI, who are
age 18 or older as of date of entry, and have a valid driver’s license or
government issued photo ID, except the following persons who are not eligible
to enter, participate or win:
(a)
Employees, officers, and directors of DFA
Dairy Brands Fluid, LLC d/b/a Garelick Farms (“Sponsor”), Million Dollar Media (the “Contest
Administrator”), each of their respective franchisees, parents, affiliated
companies, subsidiaries, contractors, distributors or wholesalers, printers,
advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other companies associated
with the design or execution of this promotion (collectively, “Released
Parties”), and the members of the immediate families or households, whether or
not related, of any of the above. “Immediate family members” includes, for
purposes of this promotion, parents (including in-laws), grandparents, siblings
(including step-siblings), children (including step-children), grandchildren (including step grandchildren)
and each of their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside.
How to Enter and Submit a Nomination: Visit www.garelickfarmsmvp.com during the Registration and
Nomination Period and fully complete the online registration and nomination
form with all required information including your full name, email address, phone
number (including area code), state of residence, the name of the Youth Sports
Organization (“YSP”) you are nominating (each a “YSP Nominee”), the city and
state that your nominated YSP Nominee serves, and contact information (website
and phone number) of your YSP Nominee. Additionally,
you must also type a written response (“Essay”) to the Contest question, “Why
does your nominated YSP deserve to be named the Garelick Farms MVP organization
and receive a $1,000 grant?” (100-words or less) including stories
that should highlight the nominated YSP’s goals, mission, use of the grant, and
benefit to the community that Garelick Farms can provide via the prize award.
IMPORTANT: In order
to be eligible to win, YSP Nominees must be:
● A currently active and accredited Youth Sports Program; and,
● Based in the state of CT, MA, or RI.
Entrants may opt out of email notifications at any time, without
affecting their entry, by following provided opt-out instructions. By participating and
submitting an entry, entrant agrees that Sponsor and participating parties are
authorized to contact entrant and nominee via email, mail, phone or any other
form of media to make entrant aware of information pertinent to the Contest.
All submitted content during Contest Registration (including Essays)
received become the sole and exclusive property of the Sponsor and will not be
returned. By submitting a nomination,
you agree that you may be contacted, recorded and/or broadcast by Sponsor, and
that your YSP Nominee and Essay (collectively, your “Submission”) that the Sponsor receives a non-exclusive license to publish, display,
promote, or utilize the Submission in any manner of its choosing in relation to
the promotion or advertising of the Contest or Sponsor. If for any reason, your
Submission does not become the sole and exclusive property of Sponsor, you
hereby agree to irrevocably assign the rights, title and interest to the Submission to Sponsor
without additional consideration in perpetuity.
By making any Submission, you grant permission for the Sponsor and its
designees to use your YSP Nominee’s name, and city and state of organization
for purposes of advertising and trade in any and all
media now or hereafter known worldwide in perpetuity without limitation or
further compensation, notification or permission, unless prohibited by
law. Any Submissions containing any
disparaging, vulgar, inflammatory or otherwise inappropriate content as solely
determined by the contest judges shall be disqualified.
By making
a Submission, you (a) affirm that all content in your Submission is original
and does not contain any copyrighted or plagiarized material belonging to
anyone else, (b) agree that Sponsor may (but is not obligated to) read any
Submission on the air, publish it in any form of media, or post it on its
website (in whole or in part, edited or unedited) and use it as the subject of
commentary, humorous or otherwise, (c) waive any right to make any claim
against Sponsor with respect to any disparaging or other comment made about the
Submission, and (c) hereby agree to indemnify and hold Sponsor and Released
Parties harmless from any and all claims, demands, complaints, loss, damage or
expenses (including without limitation reasonable attorneys’ fees) resulting
from the information/content contained in your Submission about yourself, your
Nominee, or any other person mentioned or referenced therein (including,
without limitation, if the information/content is communicated by Sponsor
verbatim or in any paraphrased form). Sponsor reserves the right to verify the
truthfulness of any content in any Submissions.
Sponsor
reserves the right to (but not the obligation) post some or all
of the content of Submissions on the Contest website, on Sponsor’s
social media account(s), or print advertising, in whole or in an edited form
(in Sponsor’s discretion). Having your Submission posted does NOT mean that you
or your Nominee has won or is likely to win a prize award in this Contest. The
decision to post any Submission content is for entertainment and informational
purposes only and is not part of the winner selection process in this Contest.
IT IS YOUR SOLE RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK IN ADVANCE WITH YOUR YSP
NOMINEE TO DETERMINE WHETHER OR NOT YOUR YSP NOMINEE WISHES TO BE NOMINATED, IS
ELIGIBLE, AGREES TO THE USE OF THEIR ORGANIZATION’S NAME IN CONNECTION WITH THE
CONTEST, AND WHETHER THE YSP NOMINEE INTENDS TO ACCEPT THE PRIZE IN THE EVENT
OF WINNING.
After
having read and agreed to these Official Rules and the Sponsor’s Privacy
Policy, click the submit button to submit your online entry (“Entry”). All Entries received must be fully complete with
all required information. If you enter
using a mobile device on a wireless service provider’s network (as opposed to a
Wi-Fi network), your carrier’s data rates will apply. You should consult your
wireless service provider’s pricing plan for details. You agree to incur any
charges demanded by your wireless carrier.
Any Entry with an invalid email address or other incomplete or
inaccurate information will be disqualified. Maximum of one (1) Entry per person. For clarity, entrants may not enter more than once, even if they
nominate different YSP’s. The same YSP
may be nominated by more than one entrant.
In the event an entrant submits more than one (1) nomination, only the
first nomination submitted by the entrant will be eligible. All Entries
must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. ET on 7/31/2026 to be eligible.
Any incomplete or ineligible Entries, duplicate or multiple Entries or
any Entry submitted with an invalid or false email address, phone number or
other incorrect information will be disqualified. Released Parties are not
responsible for lost, late, misdirected, illegible, incomplete, invalid,
unintelligible, or damaged Entries, or for Entries submitted in a manner that
is not expressly allowed under these rules, or for any Entry not submitted or
received due to any technical error or failure, unauthorized human
intervention, inaccurate capture or mis-entry of any required information, or
the failure to capture any such information or effects of hackers or failure of
any electronic equipment, computer or cellular transmissions and/or network
connections; all of which will be disqualified.
In the
event of a dispute as to the identity of any person making a Entry, the authorized account holder of the e-mail
address used to register for such action on the Contest website will be deemed
to be the entrant and they must be eligible according to these Official
Rules. The “authorized email account
holder” is the natural person assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access
provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for
assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted
address. Proof of being the authorized
account holder may be required.
No mechanically reproduced or automated Entries are permitted. Use of
any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in
disqualification and all such Entries will be deemed void. By submitting any Entry,
you agree to be bound by & abide by the official rules of the Contest.
Essay Submission Requirements:
Submissions
with inappropriate content are subject to disqualification. Submission restrictions include, but are not
limited to, the following requirements:

Must include stories
that highlight the nominated YSP’s goals, mission, use of the grant, and
benefit to the community that Garelick Farms can provide via
the prize award;
●
Must be the
entrant’s own original creation;
●
May not be, or
ever have been, submitted in any other competition or contest of any kind;
●
May not be
submitted by any individual under 18 years of age;
●
May not use any
name, likeness, or any other identifying element, in whole or in part, of any
person, living or dead, without their written permission;
●
May not be
subject to any third-party agreement or require payment or incurrence of any
sums to obtain further permissions of any person or entity as
a result of its use or exploitation of the idea or rights therein or
portions, or modified versions or derivative works thereof;
●
Except as relates
to the Sponsor, not include trademarks or copyrighted material not owned by the
entrant, or material that is used without permission (including but not limited
to company names, works of art, or information published on any media) or that
otherwise infringes or violates the rights of any third party (including but
not limited to, copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, logos, contract
and licensing rights, rights of publicity or privacy, moral rights (i.e.,
“droit morale”), or any other intellectual property rights);
●
Not include any unauthorized copy, text or plagiarism of any
kind;
●
Not be considered
harmful to minors in any way;
●
Not contain
profanity, inappropriate, indecent, sexually explicit, pornographic, or obscene
content or language
●
Not contain any
political or politically themed or motivated messages or statements;
●
Not defame,
slander, libel, misrepresent, or contain disparaging remarks or any other
content that could adversely affect the name, reputation, or goodwill of
Sponsor or any other individuals and/or entities affiliated or associated with
Sponsor, the Contest, or any prizes; and,
●
Not depict or
describe misuse or irresponsible use of Sponsor’s products or any other
product;
●
Not describe,
depict or include content that may be considered unlawful, harmful,
threatening, violent, abusive, harassing, tortuous, defamatory, vulgar,
libelous, invasive of another’s privacy, hateful, or racially, religiously,
ethnically or otherwise objectionable in any manner as solely determined by
Sponsor.
Representation and Release of Rights to Essay Submission: By submitting an Entry and
nomination, each entrant represents that they have sole and exclusive ownership
and proprietary rights of any content submitted; has full permission and rights
to publish and release the content; and agrees that the content becomes the
sole and exclusive property of Sponsor, and Sponsor may publish, display,
promote, or utilize content in any manner of its choosing in relation to the
promotion or advertising of the Contest or Sponsor without limitation or
further compensation, notification, or permission, unless prohibited by
law. Your entry into the Contest and
upload of any content, constitutes permission for the Sponsor and its designees
to use that content submission, name, city and state of residence and/or
likeness for purposes of advertising and trade in any and all media now
or hereafter known worldwide in perpetuity without limitation or further
compensation, notification or permission, unless prohibited by law. Submissions will not be acknowledged or
returned by Sponsor.
Any individual (and his or her
entry) who tampers or attempts to tamper with or abuse the Entry process or the
Contest website in any way or who is otherwise in violation of these Official
Rules is subject to disqualification. Any questions regarding the number of Entries
submitted, eligible nominee or the authorized account
holder who submitted the nomination shall be determined by the contest judges
and/or administrator. ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY
DAMAGE ANY CONTEST WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST
MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE
MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY AND SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH
PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Prize Winner Determination (maximum 2 Grand Prize winners):
Judging of Contest Entries & Prize Winner Determination: Following the close of the Registration & Nomination
Period, on or about 8/2/2026, a panel of judges, as designated by
Sponsor, shall review, select and designate a maximum of two (2) potential grand
prize winners (each a “Potential Winner”) from among all eligible Entries
received.
Entry Submissions
shall be judged pursuant to the following general guidelines, requirements and
criteria. Each of the following categories shall represent how the Potential YSP
Nominee Winners are determined:
● Essay Entry that is deemed creative, original, unique, and/or inspiring and
that highlights the nominated YSP’s goals, mission, use of the grant, and
benefit to the community that Garelick Farms can provide via
the prize award. (the “Theme”) (75%);
● The overall quality and thoughtfulness of the Entry submission that is
deemed to best represent the Theme and the image of Sponsor in a positive
manner (25%).
Prize Winner Notifications:
Grand Prize Nominee Winner Notification: Each entrant who nominated a Potential Grand Prize YSP Nominee Winner
(the “Potential Grand Prize Entrant”) will be notified initially by phone
beginning on or about 8/6/2026. If the Administrator is unsuccessful in
its attempt to reach and speak directly with a Potential Grand Prize Entrant after
three (3) attempts over a 72-hour period to the phone number listed on the
online registration form for that Entrant, then that Entrant and their YSP
Nominee may be disqualified and an alternate Potential Grand Prize Entrant may
be determined from the remaining eligible entries per the judging process
procedures outlined above. Note: messages may or may not be left during the
notification process.
During the Potential Grand Prize Entrant notification, the Entrant who
submitted the YSP nomination must confirm their eligibility. Administrator will then follow the same
contact process to reach an authorized representative of the potential grand
prize YSP Nominee winner (each a “Potential Grand Prize YSP Nominee Winner”) who
then must confirm the associated YSP’s eligibility per the requirements of
these Official Rules. The Potential
Grand Prize YSP Nominee Winner representative must also indicate their ability
and willingness to accept the grand prize award on behalf of the designated YSP. Once both the Potential Grand Prize Entrant and
the Potential Grand Prize YSP Nominee Winner have both verbally confirmed their
eligibility, the Potential Grand Prize YSP Nominee Winner will then be sent
official notification via email, and/or certified or overnight mail
delivery.
If either the selected Potential Grand Prize Entrant or Potential Grand
Prize YSP Nominee Winner does not meet the eligibility requirements or elects
to decline the prize, that Entrant and their YSP Nominee will be disqualified
and an alternate grand prize-winning Entrant and YSP Nominee will be selected
based on the judging process outlined above. Any
disqualified Entrant and YSP Nominee will not receive
any alternate prize substitution or compensation.
No
potential winning YSP will be an official winner until any required paperwork
has been returned and eligibility has been formally verified by Sponsor. If any
potential YSP winner fails to comply with these Official Rules and/or to submit
required documentation within the designated time-period, the YSP will be
automatically disqualified and the associated prize
will be forfeit. Limit one (1) prize award per YSP.
Decisions of the contest judges in the selection and determination of
the winners and all matters relating to this Contest are final and
binding.
Each YSP Nominee determined as a YSP Nominee
Grand Prize Winner will be required to: 1) complete and return, within 5-days of date of receipt, a
prize acceptance form including an affidavit of eligibility including a
liability/publicity release (where permitted) along with a W-9 form completed
and signed by an authorized representative of the YSP’s managing organization; 2) a YSP representative may be required to
provide proof of eligibility in a manner acceptable to Sponsor as a condition
of receiving any prize; 3) the entrant and representative(s) of the YSP’s managing
organization shall be required to provide information and content related to
the YSP for the purposes of creating video, photo, press release, and/or
additional content by Sponsor for the purpose of advertisement and promotion; and,
4) the YSP’s managing organization shall be solely responsible for paying all
applicable taxes (including, but not limited to all local, state/province and
federal taxes) on any associated prizes award (see below).
Prize Awards (2 Grand Prizes)
Grand Prize Award (maximum 2 prize awards): Each eligible YSP Nominee designated as a YSP Nominee
Grand Prize Winner shall be entitled to receive a $1,000 grant awarded in the
form of a prize check made payable to the designated YSP in the amount of
$1,000. Each grand prize has an ARV of
$1,000.
Each YSP
Nominee Grand Prize Winner must accept delivery of prize in the method as
solely determined and designated by Sponsor. Prize shall be emailed, delivered,
or shipped to the designated winner’s email, mobile number, or residential
address as provided at the time of entry and/or winner notification via the
method as designated by Sponsor. In the event of shipment delivery, carrier
will be as determined and designated by Sponsor (i.e. UPS, USPS or other Sponsor designated carrier), or as otherwise specified
by Sponsor. Allow approximately 8 – 12 weeks for delivery. Once shipped,
emailed or delivered digitally, prize shall be considered awarded, delivered
and fulfilled, and Sponsor shall not be responsible for any prize shipment that
is lost, late, delayed, undelivered, misdirected, misdelivered, damaged or
stolen, or any incorrect shipping address provided by winner. In the event of
any delivery issues, prize award shall not be replaced or substituted with any
alternate prize award or compensation. Winner shall look solely to designated shipper/carrier and not to
Sponsor for any delivery issues.
General Prize Conditions: All other costs and expenses related to prize acceptance, delivery,
redemption or use not specified herein as being provided are the sole
responsibility of winner. All income,
federal, state and local taxes are the winner’s sole responsibility. All prize awards are non-transferable
and no cash redemption or prize substitution allowed, except at Sponsor’s sole
discretion or as provided herein.
Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize with one of comparable
or greater value, at its sole discretion. Failure to collect or properly claim
prize in accordance with these rules will result in forfeiture of the
prize. If forfeited for any reason,
participant will not receive any other prize substitution or compensation, and
the prize will remain the property of Sponsor and will not be awarded, except
as provided herein. All properly claimed prizes will be awarded. Any unclaimed prizes may not be awarded. TOTAL ARV OF ALL AVAILABLE PRIZES: $2,000
Additional Rules & Restrictions: In the event an entrant wins a prize, and is
later found to be in violation of these rules he/she will be required to
forfeit the prize or to reimburse Sponsor for the stated value of the prize if
such violation is discovered after winner has used the prize. Participation in
the Contest constitutes permission for the Sponsor and its designees
to use entrants’ and nominees’ names, cities and states of residence and/or
likenesses for purposes of advertising and trade in any and
all media now or hereafter known worldwide on perpetuity without
limitation or further compensation, notification or permission, unless
prohibited by law. False, fraudulent or
deceptive entries or acts shall render entrants
ineligible for any prize.
By
participating, entrants agree to hold all Released Parties harmless from any
claims, losses, actions, or damages of any kind, whether actual, incidental or
consequential, for injury (including but not limited to death), damages, losses
or expenses arising out of or relating to entrant’s participation in this
Contest, or the acceptance, possession or use/misuse of any prize, or
participation in prize-related activities (including but not limited to
domestic and foreign travel or activity related thereto), and to assume all
liability therefor.
Released
Parties shall not be liable to winner or any other person for failure to supply
the prize or any part thereof by reason of any acts of God, any actions,
regulations, orders, or requests by any governmental entity, equipment failure,
terrorist acts, war, fire, unusually severe weather, embargo, labor dispute or
strike, labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, or
any other cause beyond Released Parties’ sole control.
Entrants
are restricted to use of ordinary and typical computer
equipment, mobile phone equipment, Internet access and cellular networks.
Sponsor disclaims all liability for the inability of a participant to complete
or continue an entry due to equipment malfunction, busy lines, inadvertent
disconnections, acts beyond the Sponsor’s control, or otherwise. The Sponsor
disclaims any liability for entries not received due to technical difficulties
or transmission errors. The Sponsor disclaims all liability for any delays,
mis-delivery, loss, or failure in the delivery of any item sent by mail,
courier, express, electronic transmission, or other delivery method. Released Parties are not responsible for
mechanical, technical, electronic, communications, telephone, computer,
hardware or software errors, malfunctions or failures of any kind, including:
failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed transmission of online entries, traffic
congestion on telephone lines, the Internet or at any website or lost or
unavailable network connections which may limit an online entrant's ability to
participate in the Contest, and any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other
person’s computer or mobile phone related to or resulting from participating in
or downloading any information necessary to participate in the Contest. Released Parties are not responsible for any
other errors of any kind, whether computer, technical, typographical, printing,
human or otherwise, relating to or in connection with the Contest, including,
without limitations, errors which may occur in connection with the printing or
advertising of this Contest, administration or execution of the Contest, the
processing of entries or in the announcement of the prizes or prize
winners. Sponsor, in its sole
discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the
entry process or the operation of the Contest.
Sponsor
reserves the right to cancel, modify, reschedule or terminate the Contest for
any reason including, but not limited to acts of God, pandemics, force majeure,
government regulatory action or ruling,
fraud, misconduct, or if any technical failures destroy or threaten the
integrity of the Contest, in the opinion of the Sponsor/Administrator, or if a
computer virus, bug, or other technical problem corrupts the administration,
security, or proper conduct of the Contest as determined by Sponsor/Administrator,
in their sole discretion. In the event of early termination of the Contest,
prize winners will be determined from among those eligible entries received, if
any, unaffected by the problem.
IN CASE OF DISPUTES: By
participating, each entrant agrees that (1) any and all disputes, claims, and
causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Contest, or any
prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of
class action, and any judicial proceeding shall take place in a federal or
state court located in the state of New Jersey; (2) any and all claims,
judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred,
including costs associated with entering this Contest, and in no event will
entrant be entitled to received attorneys' fees or other legal costs; and (3)
under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and
entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, and consequential
damages, and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses,
and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All
issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and
enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of
entrant and Sponsor in connection with this Contest, shall be governed by, and
construed in accordance with the laws of the state of New Jersey, without
giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions
(whether of the state of New Jersey or any other jurisdiction), that would
cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the state of
New Jersey.
