NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE CHANCES OF WINNING. THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS OPEN TO LEGAL U.S. RESIDENTS OF MASSACHUSETTS, MAINE, NEW HAMPSHIRE, RHODE ISLAND, AND VERMONT AND ONLY TO QUALIFIED PERSONS (AS DEFINED IN THE RULES BELOW). VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

NAME: Star Markets Free Grocery Anniversary Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”).

SWEEPSTAKES TIMING AND ENTRY PERIODS: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) on 10/10/2025 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. on 10/23/2025 (“Sweepstakes Period”). The Administrator’s computer is the official time keeping device for this Sweepstakes.

The Sweepstakes Period includes two (2) entry periods (each an “Entry Period”), each of which are associated with a discreet random drawing (each a “Drawing”). See “Winner Selection & Notification” section below for Entry Period dates and times and Drawing dates (each a “Drawing Date”).

WHO MAY ENTER: Sweepstakes is open to legal U.S. residents of MA, ME, NH, RI and VT who are age 18 or older as of date of entry, and who have a valid U.S. driver’s license or government issued photo identification (“Entrant”). The following classes of persons are not eligible to enter:

a. Employees, officers, and directors of Star Supermarket, (“Sponsor”), Shaw’s Supermarket, Million Dollar Media (“Administrator”), Albertsons Companies, Inc, each of their respective franchisees, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, distributors, retailers, printers, advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other companies associated with the design or execution of this Sweepstakes (collectively “Released Parties”), and the members of the immediate families or households of any of the above, whether or not related. “Immediate family members” includes, for purposes of this Sweepstakes, parents (including in-laws), grandparents, siblings (including step-siblings), children (including step-children), grand children (including step grandchildren) and each of their respective spouses.

HOW TO ENTER: To enter, visit www.staranniversarysweeps.com (the ‘Sweepstakes Website’) during the Sweepstakes Period and click the entry button to connect to the Sweepstakes registration page. Each Entrant must fully complete the on-line registration page with all required information including his/her name, street address city, state, zip code, valid email address, phone number(s) (including area code(s)) and any other required questions. After having read and agreed to these Official Rules, click the submit button to submit your entry (“Entry”). All Entries must be fully complete for all required information and must be received by 11:59:59 pm ET on 10/23/2025 to be eligible. Any Entry submitted with an invalid email address will be disqualified.

· Favorite Location: Each Entrant will also be required to select their favorite participating Sponsor store location from the provided list, which will be used for determining which of twenty-three (23) store locations (each a ‘Store Location’) the Entrant will be assigned to each prize drawing, as outlined below.

There is a limit of one (1) Entry per person per day during the Sweepstakes Period and a maximum of fourteen (14) Entries per person in the Sweepstakes. By participating and submitting an Entry, Entrant agrees that Sponsor and Released Parties are authorized to contact Entrant via email, mail, phone or any other form of media to make Entrant aware of information pertinent to the Sweepstakes, and to distribute information regarding Sponsor’s featured products, special events or promotional offers, or purchase incentives. Entrants may opt-out of any further email communication at any time by clicking on “unsubscribe” located in the footer of promotional emails from Sponsor.

Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, illegible, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, damaged, or Entries submitted in a manner that is not expressly allowed under these Official Rules, or any Entry not submitted, received, or lost due to any technical error or failure, human or programming error, unauthorized human intervention, inaccurate capture or mis-entry of any required information, or the failure to capture any such information or effects of hackers or failure of any electronic equipment, computer transmissions and/or network connections; all of which will be disqualified.

Each Entrant must submit an Entry on his/her own behalf. Any Entry submitted on behalf of another individual or using another person’s email address or name will be disqualified and ineligible to claim any prize. No mechanically reproduced or automated entries permitted. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification and all such Entries will be deemed void. In the event of a dispute as to any on-line registration, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used to register will be deemed to be the registrant and he/she must be eligible according to these Official Rules. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. All Entries received become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: On each of the Drawing Dates set forth in the chart below, the Administrator will conduct twenty-three (23) separate, concurrent drawings, with one (1) drawing per Store Location conducted from all entries received and assigned to each corresponding Store Location. In each drawing a potential winner (each a “Potential Winner”) will be randomly selected from among all eligible entries received. Non-winning Entries will roll over to the next Drawing Date, if any. Entries not received by the Entry Period deadlines below will be entered into the next Drawing. Sponsor may not award all prizes for this Sweepstakes if the number of eligible Entrants is less than the number of advertised prizes.

Potential Winners will be notified initially phone or email following their selection within 48-hours of the Drawing Date. If the Administrator is unsuccessful in its attempt to reach a selected Potential Winner by phone or email within forty-eight (48) hours of the initial attempt to the phone number or email address associated with their Entry, then that Entrant may be disqualified, and an alternate Potential Winner may be randomly selected from among the remaining eligible entries received and notified as per the procedures outlined above. Note: Phone messages will not be left during the Potential Winner notification process.

During the Potential Winner notification, each Potential Winner must verify their eligibility to participate in and win the Sweepstakes and indicate ability and willingness to accept the prize. Potential Winner will receive official notification via email delivery with a link and instructions on how to claim their corresponding prize. If a Potential Winner does not meet the eligibility requirements, is unable or unwilling to accept the prize, or elects to decline the prize, that entry shall be disqualified and, at Sponsor’s discretion and time permitting, an alternate entry will be selected at random from among all remaining eligible Entries and a new Potential Winner will be notified per the procedures outlined above. Any disqualified Entrant will not receive an alternate prize substitution or compensation. Decisions of the Administrator in the selection and determination of a Potential Winner and all matters relating to this Sweepstakes are final and binding.

All of the following apply to each Potential Winner (each a “Winner”): 1) Winner will be required to complete and submit within two (2) days of date of receipt, a prize acceptance form, an affidavit of eligibility, and a liability/publicity release (where permitted); 2) Winner may be required to present a copy of a valid social security card and a valid driver’s license (or other valid government issued photo ID) as a condition of receiving a prize; and 3) Winner is responsible for paying all applicable taxes (including, but not limited to all local, state and federal taxes) on any prize awarded. Potential Winners who submit their completed Paperwork per the provided instructions within two (2) days of receipt will be designated as a winner (each a “Winner”). ”). If the Potential Winner does not meet the eligibility requirements, is unable to be contacted per the requirements above, is unable or unwilling to accept the prize or elects to decline the prize or does not return the required documents by the stated deadline, that Potential Winner shall be disqualified and, at Sponsor’s discretion and time permitting, an alternate Potential Winner will be selected at random from among all remaining Entries for the corresponding Entry Period and will be notified per the procedures outlined above. Any disqualified Entrant will not receive an alternate prize substitution or compensation. The Administrator is not responsible for any email notification which is not viewed, read or responded to for any reason (including by not limited to being delivered into recipients SPAM folder) by the required deadline. Decisions of the Administrator in the selection and determination of Winners and all matters relating to this Sweepstakes are final and binding.

PRIZE AWARDS AND DELIVERY (limit of 46 prizes): Each Entrant and Potential Winner designated as a Winner shall be awarded a prize (“Prize”), subject to approval and verification of compliance with these official rules. The Prize is:

· One (1) Star Markets gift card in the amount of $110.00.

Each Winner must take delivery of the Prize at Sponsor Store Location assigned to Winner. Allow approximately 6-8 weeks for coordination of Prize.

Maximum of one (1) Prize per person and per household during the entire Sweepstakes. Maximum retail value of all available Prizes: $5,060.00. All Prizes awarded in the form of a gift card are subject to terms and conditions and policies of gift card supplier. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to award multiple gift cards in varying denominations to satisfy the total amount to be awarded. Once Prize is fulfilled, Prize shall be considered awarded and delivered, and Sponsor shall not be responsible for any lost or stolen Prize. Sponsor shall have no responsibility to replace the Prize, and Prize shall not be substituted by Sponsor with any alternate Prize or compensation.

GENERAL PRIZE CONDITIONS: Prize must be accepted as awarded. All other costs and expenses related to Prize acceptance, delivery, redemption or use not specified herein as being provided are the sole responsibility of Winner. All income, federal, state and local taxes are the Winner’s sole responsibility. All Prize components are non-transferable, and no cash redemption or substitution allowed, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion or as provided herein. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a Prize or component of a Prize with one of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion. All Prize components are awarded as is, without any warranty, express or implied, by Sponsor. Failure to collect or properly claim Prize in accordance with these Official Rules will result in forfeiture of the Prize. If forfeited for any reason, Winner will not receive any other substitution or compensation, and the Prize will remain the property of Sponsor and will not be awarded, except as provided herein. A properly claimed Prize will be awarded. Any unclaimed Prize or Prize component will not be awarded. Prizes may not be awarded if an insufficient number of eligible Entries are received.

ADDITIONAL RULES AND RESTRICTIONS: By participating, Entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. In the event an Entrant wins a Prize and is later found to be in violation of these Official Rules, Entrant will be required to forfeit the Prize or to reimburse Sponsor for the stated value of the Prize if such violation is discovered after Winner has redeemed the Prize. Participation in Sweepstakes constitutes permission for the Sponsor and its designees to use Entrants’ names, cities and states of residence, and likenesses for purposes of advertising and trade in any and all media now or hereafter known worldwide on perpetuity without limitation or further compensation, notification or permission, unless prohibited by law. False, fraudulent or deceptive entries or acts shall render Entrants ineligible for any Prize.

By participating, Entrants agree to hold all Released Parties harmless from any claims, losses, actions, or damages of any kind, whether actual, incidental or consequential, for injury (including but not limited to death), damages, losses or expenses arising out of or relating to Entrant’s participation in this Sweepstakes, or the acceptance, possession or use or misuse of the Prize, or participation in prize-related activities (including but not limited to travel or activity related thereto), and to assume all liability thereof. Released Parties shall not be liable to Winner or any other person for failure to supply the Prize or any part thereof by reason of any event of force majeure, including without limitation, any acts of God such as an epidemic, pandemic (including foreseeable and ongoing effects of COVID-19) any actions, regulations, orders, or requests by any governmental entity, equipment failure, terrorist acts, war, fire, unusually severe weather, embargo, labor dispute or strike, labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, or any other cause beyond Released Parties’ control.

Released Parties are not responsible for errors of any kind, whether computer, software, technical, mechanical, electronic, telephone, typographical, printing, human or otherwise, relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitations, errors which may occur in connection with the printing or advertising of this Sweepstakes, administration or execution of the Sweepstakes, the processing of Entries or in the announcement of the Prizes or Winners. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Website. In the event of early termination of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right to randomly select Winners from all non-suspect Entries received prior to the event leading to early termination.

ODDS: The odds of being selected as a Potential Winner are dependent upon the total number of eligible Entries received during each Entry Period for each Store Location.

PRIVACY: Sponsor is committed to protecting privacy. To enter the Sweepstakes, Entrants must complete an official Entry with the entrant’s name, email address, mailing address and phone number. The information submitted on the Entry will be used for selecting winners and giving away Prizes. Sponsor may retain any Entry and winner selection information for recordkeeping and marketing or promotional communication purposes, but the information will not be used for other purposes, except as described in these Official Rules Sponsor does not sell any personal information collected as part of this Sweepstakes. Depending on your jurisdiction, applicable law may entitle you to certain consumer rights regarding the processing of your personal information. IN CASE OF DISPUTES: By participating, each Entrant agrees that (1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Sweepstakes, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and any judicial proceeding shall take place in a federal or state court within the State of New Jersey; (2) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys' fees; and (3) under no circumstances will Entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and Entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, and consequential damages, and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of Entrant and Sponsor in connection with this Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions (whether of the State of New Jersey or any other jurisdiction), that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of New Jersey.
